A fashion show to help the people of Haiti

This video shows kate moss' catwalk return in the cutest way possible, at 36 she easily outshines all the models 10 years (if not 20 years) her junior. She dances up the catwalk, with her 'who cares' charm, seeming like she is almost tipsy in a sweet sexy way. The Alexander McQueen dress she wore later sold to Sir Phillip Green for £100,000, rumoured to be for Kate herself.

The video was sent to me from my friend and owner of flashtrash.com Amber Atherton, taken at Naomi Campbell's fashion for Relief show at Somerset House last Thursday night.

The show opened London fashion week and the aim was to help the people of Haiti.

Este vídeo muestra el retorno de Kate Moss a la pasarela de la manera mas divertida posible, a sus 36 años, fácilmente supera a todos las modelos de 10 años (por no decir 20 años), menor que ella. Ella baila hasta en la pasarela, con su increíble encanto, y se estilo 'no me importa nada' , parece como si estuviera un poco borracha pero de una manera tan sexy.

Se rumorea que el vestido de Alexander McQueen que lleva más tarde se vendió a Sir Phillip Green por £ 100.000, y que fue un regalo para la propia Kate.

El video me lo envió mi amiga Amber, la dueña de flashtrash.com , y fue grabado en Somerset House la noche del jueves pasado.

Con este show se inauguró la semana de moda de Londres y se hizo para ayudar a la gente de Haiti.

Backstage @ London Fashion Week

After a week of partying with fashionista's and hanging around backstage, i'm devastated London Fashion Week is nearly over.

Yesterday for the final day of womenswear, i was invited backstage at a few shows. Chatting with the models, socialising with the designers, gossiping with the stylists was all part of the most amazing day at this season's fashion week. Everyone backstage seemed to love my jewellery, a few models and stylists even emailed me to buy pieces as soon as they got home. I photographed some of my favourite people i met yesterday wearing my jewellery and i'm sure i met the real life Mister Playboy, and as you can see he is a hottie.

Después de una semana de fiesta con londoners y fashionistas y rondando entre bastidores, me da pena que la Semana de la Moda de Londres esté casi terminando.

Ayer fui a uno de los últimos shows al que fui invitada a backstage y donde estuve charlando con las modelos, socializando con los diseñadores, y comentando con los estilistas. Fue uno de los mejores días para mi de toda la semana de London Fashion Week. Todo el mundo en backstage parecía amar mi colección The boyfriends, algunos modelos y estilistas, incluso me pidieron mi correo electrónico para comprar piezas tan pronto como llegaran a casa. Fotografié algunas de mis modelos preferidas con mis piezas y estoy segura que conocí al verdadero señor Mister Playboy que como podéis ver es un verdadero hottie.

KATE NASH COMES TO MY STUDIO IN EAST LONDON AND BUYS MISTER PLAYBOY

On Monday the wonderful singer Kate Nash came into my studio's to choose herself a Boyfriend. Dressed faultlessly, she looked like a cool hunters dream find, and her new Mr Playboy necklace with only compliment her incredible style. Kate was so sweet, but will she be toughened up by the menace that is Mr Playboy. This is the third time Kate has stopped by my studio to buy a few pieces, she loves my perspex jewellery, as she also has one of my giant ribcage necklaces. I later went on a shot for her new album, where all the styling was done with my UnbornCollection, i will post some pictures of this very soon. I'm also lucky enough to be receiving one of the first promo copies of her new album, which i will review for my blog.

El lunes, la increible cantante Kate Nash entró en mi estudio a escoger a uno de mis novios. Salió de mi estudio en el este de Londres con el carácter escandaloso que es el Sr. Mister Playboy, su nuevo collar complementaba perfectamente su increíble estilo. Esta es la tercera vez que Kate se ha pasado por mi estudio para comprar algunas de mis piezas, le encanta mi colección de perspex, el año pasado compró uno de mis collares de costillas gigante. Luego fuimos a un shooting para su nuevo álbum, donde utilizaron toda mi colección Unborn , publicaré algunas fotos de este editorial muy pronto. Tengo además la suerte de recibir en los últimos días una de las copias promocionales de su nuevo álbum, os contaré aquí las primeras impresiones sobre él.

Julianne Moore

Release of Fashion Designer Tom Ford's directing debut, has been much awaited by the fashion followers of the world. The film which he completely financed himself is rumored to be big news with various award nominations. Featuring Julianne Moore, who's one of the actresses that i find most inspirational, it's merging the people of fashion and film together as one. My Favourite thing about Julianne is that she didn't start acting from a young age and that she kind of grew into it, i find her aspirational to watch.

El estreno del diseñador Tom Ford como director de cine ha sido muy esperado por los seguidores de la moda del mundo. La película que él mismo ha financiado se rumorea que estará nominada. Con Julianne Moore, que es una de mis actrices preferidas. Lo que más me gusta de Julianne es que ella no empezó a trabajar de muy pequeña y se ha hecho una gran actriz, me inspira mucho como mujer con estilo, como actriz y profesional.

I'm going to tell you a story about the girl who's been my muse and inspiration for my whole life. She was also a rebel.

I basically grew up wanting to be Bea Nicolás and the best part of this story is that this girl is my sister.

One day she told my father that she was going away with the nuns and her school classmates on a pray retreat and then a family friend discovered a photograph in the edgy, Harley Davidson inspired book Bikers. With her sweet face and lolita mets rock chick style she is a character no one can ignore. She is my muse, my love, my older sister.

Os voy a contar una historia sobre la chica que ha sido mi musa e inspiración toda mi vida. Era también una rebelde.

Basicamente crecí queriendo ser Bea Nicolás, y la mejor parte de la historia es que esta niña es mi hermana.

Un día le dijo a mi padre que se iba con las monjas y sus compañeros del colegio a unas convivencias un fin de semana y luego un amigo de la familia descubrió una fotografía suya en Harley Davidson Bikers. Estas fotos se habían hecho ese fin de semana. Y mis padres así la pillaron. Parecía tan rebelde, su estilo rock chic, y su rostro dulce la convertía en una niña difícil de olvidar. Ella es mi musa, mi amor, mi hermana mayor.

These photos remind me of the upcoming model of the moment Abbey Lee. Who's known for her rebellious ways; such as storming the catwalk with her nose ring and suspiciously fainting at Alexander Mcqueen's S/S 09 show in Paris. I hype this Australian model to be huge, her sweet childish looks make her seem innocent and pure whilst her sexy displays for Victoria Secret make her irresistible. What i love most about Abbey is that when you look at her photo's you don't admire her as a model but as a beautiful woman. She's the new decades model to watch and will be big news this season.

Estas fotos me recuerdan a la próxima modelo del momento Abbey Lee, conocida por su manera de ser rebelde, con su piercing en la nariz y el sospechoso caso de su desmayo en el show de Alexander McQueen S / S 09 en París. Apuesto que esta modelo australiana de mirada dulce infantil e inocente que al mismo tiempo muestra su lado sexy para Victoria's Secret va a ser el gran descubrimiento. Lo que más me gusta de ella es que cuando veo fotos suyas no la veo como una modelo sino como una niña que posa natural, sin intentarlo y muy guapa. Estoy segura de que va a ser la gran modelo y la cara de la próxima decada.

R.I.P. ALEXANDER McQUEEN

¨British fashion designer Alexander McQueen has been found dead after apparently committing suicide at his London home. The 40-year-old was discovered at his property in Green Street, in London's West End, shortly after 10am on Thursday. ¨

I am in shocked, I cannot believe this .Today the fashion industry has lost an icon of all times. He was an artist, my inspiration, the number one.

It was only a matter of time before Patricia Nicolas became one of the hottest young jewellery designers. Her collection of edgy bone and pearl necklaces and bracelets, reminiscent of Givenchy AW08, definitely satisfied the closeted goth in me. I’ve actually been following her designs since LFW SS10, where her jewellery was draped over models in one of the sexiest shows to hit the catwalk: Bryce Aime.

I was lucky enough to get personal with jewellery designer of the moment Patricia and talk: working in banks, loathing matching jewelley and Vogue calling…

1. Tell me about your latest collection. What was your inspiration?

Baroque poem is a sweet infusion of innocence and rebellion. It has an intriguing mix of girlie resin flowers and creepy sliver spiders and bees. I found most of my influences from London life, the feisty attitudes that even the sweetest of girls carry like an accessory as well as the excitement of the upcoming spring season.

2. Did your upbringing and family (jewellery being part of your family history) influence you?

I have been surrounded by fashion and jewellery since I was born. My father (a famous jewellery designer) started making his own when he was 15, it was inspirational to watch his business grow whilst growing up, I would love to watch him make his jewellery by hand and watch his designs develop into something contemporary, this definately influenced me a lot.

3. What did you want to be when you were younger/ if you weren't a designer what would you be?

I've always wanted to do something creative, I wanted to be either a fashion or jewellery designer whilst growing up. If I wasn't a designer I'd still want to do something I am good at and enjoyed. I used to work in a bank for a few years, which was very boring for me. I'd maybe have been a painter as I paint lots in my spare time, or even an actress as everyone wants to be a star a little bit.

4. How did you get into the industry, what did you study?

Obviously my family has a jewellery design history, but my parents really didn't want me to enter the fashion industry or study fashion at all. I hadn’t decided what I was going to do during school (where I studied Business). It wasn't until I was very unhappy in my job at the bank and decided it was not the job for me that I moved to London and started making jewellery professionally.

5. What are your favourite trends this season?

I like a wide variety of trends and styles, for example this week I love the retro looks from the 60's and 70's, with the faded denim, capes and statement jewellery pieces. I really like the headpieces on the S/S 2010 catwalks, especially the bunny style ears at Louis Vuitton, and the use of pale colours and lace is going to be huge this season.

6. Who is your favourite designer/who's collections are you looking forward to next season?

My favourite designer of the moment is Isabel Marant; her effortless, pretty style is really cute. I followed Phoebe Philo at Chloe and love her latest collection for Celine, and I’ve always really liked Stella McCartney, her designs are always inspiring and also Prada which is always so ahead of the fashion curve. I am not sure why but I tend to love more female designers, mostly because they are more wearable, and have the right mix of style and comfort.

7. What is your favourite item of clothing?

A piece of jewellery, as its timeless. Especially if it's been given as a gift; when just wearing the item has you think of that person. Jewellery tends to have a more personal meaning than most other items which are only fashionable for one season.

8.What do you believe is the biggest fashion faux-pas?

I never caught on to the Bodycon trend of last year. I found it a bit too tight and a bit too revealing, not to mention unflattering on most people. I like it when people bring their own personality to their fashion, not buying completely high street or completely designer, or even completely vintage as it's not very unique. I think fashion looks best when it’s from a mixture of places and it really says something about the person wearing it. Another faux as is when people wear too much or matching jewellery as most of the time one piece is eye catching enough.

9. What are your plans for the future?

Im excited about the opening of my families new store which will sell most of our designs in Spain. I'm also currently putting the final touches on a collaboration with Vogue. Because of the success of my blog, I’ll be writing one to feature within Vogue.es!
